Looking for the parents of Elizabeth (Betsy) Hamlet b. 1803 in NC. Sorry, don't know what county. She married Pleasant Marshall Bales 5 Mar 1827 in either NC or TN. Elizabeth is supposed to be 3/4 Cherokee. Has anyone heard of her or know where I could find information about her? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks.
