I am trying to reach the family of Vanessa Taylor Williams who wrote the John Taylor of Sycamore article in the Buncombe Co Heritage Book.
I am through Mary, d/o John and Mary of Sycamore. Mary married Joseph Taylor of Buncombe/Henderson and had several children.Most lived and died in Henderson or surrounding counties. She had Terrell Wilkie and Noah before she married Joseph.
I am trying to find the source she used for Arthur being a brother of John and of John and Arthur being sons of Robert Taylor of Rutherford.
I am also a descendant of Arthur through his grandson Joseph Taylor.This is very important to the descendants of Arthur because DNA Results indicated Arthur was not a son of Robert by results of descendants of Joshua and Caleb.. However, Arthur as a son of Robert has always been passed down in my family.
Was it recorded in a bible?
Has anyone from the John of Sycamore line participated in the DNA Project? Thanks so much for any information.
