Pearl H. Davis
The funeral for Pearl Harris Davis, 78, of 328 Ruff Davis Rd., who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at Person Memorial Hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 28, in Rock Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Martin Hall. Burial will be in the Davis Family Cemetery on Ruff Davis Road.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Person County, the daughter of the late Lemuel and Mallie Oakley Harris. Her husband was the late William Davis.
She was a member of Rock Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Jerry and Katherine Davis of Roxboro and Kenneth and Patricia Davis of Efland; a daughter, Luella Davis Rowley and husband, Bob, of Roxboro; two brothers, Frank Harris of Roxboro and Benjamin Harris of Hillsborough; two sisters, Janette Clark of Roxboro and Betty Jean Talley of Henderson; six grandchildren, Casandra Furrow, Dwayne Davis, Joseph Green, Matthew Green, Lindsay Davis and Brian Davis; and four great grandchildren, Cody Furrow, Kailey Furrow, Keri Furrow and Devereaux Davis.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Davis, Joseph Green, Matthew Green, Edward Furrow, James D. Davis and Bob Davis.
Brian Davis and Cody Furrow will be honorary pallbearers.
