I noticed your Willis family connection to Cook family. Rainey and Cook family had long history in Mecklenburg Co.,VA where a Christian Willis was wife of William Rainey who died 1797. Have nothing on wife Christian Willis, her husband's will does not list any children either. Have you encountered her in any of your research?Raineys lived all along the NC-VA border counties.
