"Artope & Whitt Co. Rocky Mt. NC" made the stone for our Blount ancestor. Earlier, the Artope family of Macon, GA, were prominent stone carvers / monument makers. In order to date the Blount monument in St. George, SC, I am seeking to know when this company was in existence in Rocky Mt. I would very much appreciate any and all leads.
