Hello to all Harrison & Poole family members:
Today, six Harrison family cousins cleaned the cemetery for the first time in about 4 or 5 years. This is the final resting place of 21+ Harrison's & Poole's.

Such as:
James Harrison b. 1797 & wife Feraby
J.H. Harrison b. 1829 & wife Lavrinda
John Rufus Harrison b.1823 & wife Martha
Bud Harrison b. 1835 & wife
Baby Yelvington
child of John W. & Rebecca Yelvington b-d 1882


This is known as cemetery # 170 in the Johnston Co. record. If is located off RANCH Road near Baptist Center Church.


In early MARCH 2005 on a Sat. we hope/plan to have another clean up day. I will post notice here and at the Heritage Center. If you are a cousin, related to such famous folks as Mrs. Margaret McLemore Lee or Mrs. Mary Jean Barber or any Yelvington's -- We hope to see you then!
