My Grandfather was Thad R. Brown, who was married to Betty Lovedahl. His father was William Walter Brown, his mother was Mary Hazeltine Parker. I have this family traced back to Phillip Lucius Brown, whose father was David Brown and then I lose them. Does anyone have anything else?
Also, Mary Hazeltine Parker, I have read, could be Cherokee. Has anyone found proof of this? I have been told that there was Cherokee blood in my family, but I have yet to prove it. Does anyone have any info on these families.
