I'm looking for a connection between my gg grandmother Sarah Jane Parris and the Ensley family. of Jackson County NC. She was married to Wallace Ward about 1849 and she lived to be nearly 90. She died in 1921. My mother remembers someone telling her when she was young that she was related to the Ensley family but she can't remember any other details.
We think Sarah's father was John David Parris and her mother was Hannah Ensley but we are having difficulty with the dates and with sorting out all the Parris and Ensley families down there.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated.
