I am looking for Gibbs that migrated to SC from NC in the early 1800s.
I have one, Captain Cannon Gibbs, who arrived in SC from NC about 1823. He was only 19 yrs at this time. I assume he was traveling with OTHER Gibbs or another family.
ANY information is greatly appreciated.
