Jesse Thomas, Quaker, relocated from Delaware ca 1762 with wife, Sarah MUNCEY, to the Mattamuskeet Lake area. They had 7 children before Sarah passed away in 1780: Anna (b. 9-27-1765), Fanny, David, Nathaniel, John, Sarah, and Benjamin. ANNA married William MACE, also a Quaker, in 1784, and their daughter, Catherine Mace, married my Robert Cartwright ancestor. Jesse's father was Patrick Thomas, but so far, nothing has been found about him except that "...he was probably born in the British Isles around 1709..."
