Quoting from "Brief Baptist Biographies 1707-1982" Vol II by Robert P. Hamby page 529, article about Elder James Blythe in which he writes the following regarding Elder Blythe. "he was a deacon in the Mud Creek Baptist Church. Lincoln Fulham along with Elisha King wrote a brief, but beautiful and comprehensive history of the Mud Creek Baptist Church about the year 1839. The church was constitued in the year 1802 with 25 charter members." The church is located in historic Flat Rock, Henderson Co. NC.
Somewhere, this history is stored away in somebody's material, either Mr. Hamby's papers or the Mr. Fulhum or Mr. King library. Does anyone know where that history can be located today. Does anyone know any of the relatives of either of the three men who you can ask? Somebody's got that history and doesn't know it. Please help! Betty Kuykendall Price
