Surnames: BURGESS, PRICE, POWELL
My father remembers being told that his father JOSEPH WIMBERLY POWELL BURGESS had the name WIMBERLY given to him because that was the name of the Doctor that delivered him. Does anyone know this Doctor? Joe was born December 12, 1902 in Scotland Neck, father was John Benjamin BURGESS and mother Sarah E Price. I am trying to find information on the BURGESS and Price families.
