Surnames: PACE, REED, MINER
ABNER PACE (b.1821-22) married JULIA ANN REED (b.1823-25)in Guilford Co., NC. in 1843. The bondsman on this marriage bond was a RICHARD MINER, who must have been a friend/relative of either the bride or groom. It is possible he lived in the vicinity of Guilford that Abner Pace did; ABNER PACE had been apprenticed as an orphan at age 16 in 1837 to saddlemakers Hiatt & Jean.

I think that wherever the Miner family was in 1840 Guilford, that is also where Abner Pace was living, probably in the household of either Hiatt or Jean(probably a William Jean).

I would be interested in contacting researchers of Richard Miner of Guilford Co., NC
