The names CLAPP and FOUST/FAUST were identified with a group of German Reformed Church people who founded the Old Brick Church in Guilford County in 1749. There is a website somewhere that you could check out the history of the church (still operating I think, but as Congregationalists). There is also an Old Brick Church mailing list that you could enroll in by e-mail to: BRICKCHURCHNC-L-REQUEST@rootsweb.com. In the body, simply type the word SUBSCRIBE.
