I am researching Ambroise Wray--Ray circa1750s. HIS father was quite possibly JOHN Ray. Can anyone send me the web-site for the early tax lists in Granvile c. nc. By 1782 Ambroise was in Wilkes c.nc. He married Susannah Lycan 1782. Had son Joseph WRAY IN 1784, another son 1786--Ambroise died before the 1790 census was taken. Susannah and 2 small sons were in household of Susannah'father Hans Lycan. Ambroise May have had brother William Ray. Any Ray researchers in Granville county/ Regards--Bonnie Ray Reeves
