I am looking for James S. Reddick, born in Gates County in 1822. I can't find him on any census records as they did not record children's names but on the 1830 census, there are at least 6 Reddicks that had a male child between 5 and 10 years of age.

I suspect he could be one of them. He moved from Gates County in 1849 to Houston County Georgia and lived in Georgia the rest of his life. He was married in 1857 in Houston County Georgia. I believe he had brothers and sisters who may have also moved to Georgia but have been unable to prove that. I need to place him in Gates County in order to go any further with my family.
