On Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, Clara G. Williams went home to be with her Lord; her husband, R.K. Williams; and two beloved animals, Mitsu and Mandy.

Clara was a member of Mrs. Charlotte Rock's Sunday school class at Grace Baptist Temple, whose prayers and remembrance were always appreciated. She was retired from AMP Inc. on Gumtree Road.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Williams and Nancy Williams; a treasured cat, Baby T; a sister, Frances Sink of Midway; and a brother, J. W. Gillespie and wife Faye of Clemmons.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Forsyth Memorial Park by Pastor Phillip Squire, with entombment following the service. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel handled arrangements. Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there; I did not die.
