TRUSSELL, LILLIAN S., 86, of Gulfport, died Thursday (Sept. 21, 2006) at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Mooresville, N.C., she came here in 1970 from Massachusetts. She worked for residential construction companies in Virginia and New York City. Locally, she was a member and past president of Friends of the Gulfport City Library, the Suncoast Chapter of Self Help for Hard of Hearing People and the National Genealogy Society. She was a life member of the Garden Club of St. Petersburg and the Jungle Circle and a member of St. Vincent?s Episcopal Church, where she was past president of St. Margaret?s Guild. She conducted speech reading classes at the Gulfport Senior Center. Survivors include a stepdaughter, Carolyn L. Braine, New York City; a nephew, Jon W. White, St. Petersburg; six grandnephews, Joe, Jay, Jamie, David, Jon and Matt White; four grandnieces, Kay Muhlbaier, Wendy Hedeen, Becky Sullivan and Carey White; and caregivers, Joe and Gloria Griffith.
