I am looking for a SPURGIN or SPURGEON line out of Davidson Co NC. The male would have died before 1850 when I first find the wife living in the household of William and Elizabeth GORDON in Davidson County, NC. Phoebe is listed as age 50 at this time.

This SPURGIN/SPURGEON and Pheobe/Phebe would have had a daughter named Elizabeth who was born somewhere around 1820 and married William GORDON of Davidson Co NC.

Any help on this at all would be greatly appreciated

I have an Agnes Spurgeon (1763-1847) dau. of William Spurgeon (1725--abt. 1800) and Mary Jane Sellars (1736-1803). They lived around the Abbott's Creek Primitive Baptist Church area near the intersection of what is now Forsyth/Davidson/Guilford counties.

Agnes Spurgeon was my maternal gggggg-grandmother. These families were from the northeastern part of what is now Davidson County and the southeastern part of Forsyth County. But, as far as I know, we have relationship to any Gordons in our ancestry.
