Am looking for information on Elijah Davidson, who I believe was born in Davidson County NC, on or about 1800. He travelled to Oregon in 1830's as a fur trapper and sent for his brother and wife who came to Oregon in 1840's by wagon train to settle. Do not know parents of Elijah or what exact area they are from.

Does your Elijah have a grandson name Elijah Baker Davidson born in Texas Sept. 25, 1894 & died Sept. 17, 1963 in Hartley Texas? Some of my Davidsons were from NC but I don't know when or who.
