Am interested in any information about the history of the Soules Swamp located in Whiteville, Columbus County, NC. Does anyone have info that might tie the early Columbus County SOULES to the Pilgrim GEORGE SOULE, or how/if the SOLES of today are related to the Mayflower SOULES. Thanks in advance.
