I am looking for information on James Powell (b. 1875 in North Carolina--death 1911 in VA) who married Lizzie Bell Cox (b. 5/06/1883 d. 8/29/1926). They lived in Virginia (I think maybe Christiansburg). They had 2 children that I know of: Robert Hogan Powell (b. 8/6/1902 d. 3/2/1973 VA) and my grandmother Nellie May Powell (b. 8/16/1907 VA d. 8/23/1998 in Iowa. They might have had a sister named Nancy that died as an infant. I can't go back any further than James and Lizzie Bell (except her father might have been Angus or Magnus). I'd appreciate any help I can get.
