Hi Gary. I had an uncle named Leo Percy Solomon.

This is online and is correct. I also have a photo of him when he was in the Navy.

Leo /Solomon Lewis was my uncle.
He was born Oct 24, 1922 in Wilmington, Hanover, North Carolina
His mother was Annie McCormick (maiden name), born around 1904.
She was the daughter of Amos McCormick and Sallie Page, according to the 1920 Census. Family history says otherwise.
The name of Leo Solomon's father is unknown to me.
He died Sep 20 1992 from complications with diabetes.

His sister is Esse B Lewis, is my mother.
Both of them were adopted (probably not legally) by Annie Mae's 2nd (or 3rd) husband, President Lewis (birth name William McKinley Lewis, born in Virginia).

I have a copy of their marriage certificate where she signed her name as Annie Mae Solomon.
I also have interest in Leo Solomon and also a surname Saunders, which I believe is the surname of my mother's father.

Hope this helps, and if there's any info you wish to share with me, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
