Armajah "Armagy" R. Soles (b. 1848/49) lived on the border of the Columbus/Horry County line. He was the son of Jordan "Jird" Soles (b. May 1816) and Anna Eliza Watts of Columbus County. Armagy married first to Sarah Norris, daughter of William "Billy" Norris Jr. and Priscilla Alford. He had 2 children by this marriage. He married second to Martha L. Cox, daughter of Isaac Cox and Mary Stanley. There were many children by this marriage. He also had a "friend" Kit Ward who produced several children. Armagy is reputed to be the father of 35 and I am interested in documenting the names of all of his children. Currently, I have 20 of them. I also need to know a specific birth and death date for Armagy, which is something I've never been able to find.
