I would like to get in touch with any of the descendents of Solomon Harrelson and his wife Elizabeth "Bertie" Stephens.
Their children were Almira Rebecca who married Jacob Simmons (my line), Rev. Joshua J Harrelson who married Nancy Benton, Moses Jackson Harrelson who married Jane Page, Mary Ann who married William Keeter, Rebecca A who married John F Stewart, Haynes "Bud" Harrelson who married Marinda Wright, Dorcas who married Allemander Williams. There were also a Jesse J Harrelson and a Caroline Harrelson who never married.

Don't know if this will help your research but in the US 1860 Census, Columbus Co., NC. I found STEPHENS, MARTHA 75, F, living with her son James A. STEPHENS 32, M. and Frances HARRILSON 5 F.
Martha THOMPSON STEPHENS was married to Joel STEPHENS (1780-1836). I don't have any idea what connection little Frances HARRILSON might have to Joel STEPHENS (1780-1836) family.
