I have the following listed Noah A. Gibson died 20 Feb 1978, N.C. Noah was born 14 Feb 1887, N.C.
He married Josephine "Jossie" Sutherland (Southard, Southerland, Southernland). She was from Murphy, Clay County, N.C. Her parents were Lee Sutherland and Tiny Webb. Tiny later married Rufus Campbell.
Noah and Jossie are buried in Macon County, N.C.
Noah had a brother that lived in Murphy. His name was Leach Gibson. Their parents were Walter A. Gibson and Unice(Elizabeth) Justice.

You might consider reposting your query to the Cherokee County, North Carolina message board. Murphy is in Cherokee, not Clay. (I live in Clay). Good luck with your search
