John Burnes b.1800 married Mary Hamblin b.1804, both died 5 June 1867 and are buried at Liberty Cem. in Cherokee Co.NC. My line is their dau. Martha Jane Burnes who married Jacob Jones. After John and Mary died some of their children moved to White Co., NC. Martha Jane died c.1879 and is probably also buried at Liberty. Jacob moved to Fannin Co, Ga. where he died c.1800.
