I know George ray and Baker Ray and George's son Mark Ray were in Chatham co NC in 1789-1790. I can not find any kind of record showing they were there. Would someone with the resources please check to see if they have any records showing they were in Chatham co NC at that time. I can not find where they owned land there. A deed or court record or tax record or any kind of record would be appreciated. Sometimes the name was spelled Wray. Ross
