Can anyone identify Jemima/Mimsay BREWER who was living in the household of Hamilton George WILLIAMS in Chatham Co., NC in 1850 & 1860? Per the census she was 60 years old in 1850 & 73 in 1860. By 1870, she had apparently died. Also in the household with Hamilton George Williams in 1850 were Rebecca Williams, age 45; John Williams, 18; Lucian, 15; Eliza, 12, Julia, 10; Wright, 7; Winfield, 4; and a 60 year old woman named Nancy Williams (Hamilton's mom? sister?). Hamilton also had an older daughter Emeline, b. abt. 1823, married to John Wilson TRIPP; a daughter Nancy, b. abt. 1830, married to Nathaniel JOLLY, and a son named Nathaniel, b. November 7, 1826. Was Jemima BREWER the mother-in-law of H. G. Williams?
