John Gaston Cook was the son of Jonathan and Mary Cook; born abt 1852 in Chatham Co. NC. We know he married Mary McBane, daughter of David and Matilda Flinton McBane. I don't find him in Chatham county in 1880 or on any census after that. Where did he and Mary move to? Did they have children? Any info on his brothers Samuel (or Solomon) and Thomas D, also sister Elizabeth L, appreciated.
