Chet, I'd appreciate a little info on Stephen and Martha Petty. I don't know yet if Stephen is related to my Sabra Petty, but I do know that Stephen and Martha took in an unfortunate little girl named Matilda Woody. They called her Tildy, and she kept house for them until she died. Tildy was my out-of-wedlock cousin.
I have followed Stephen and Martha through the censuses. I know that Martha outlived Stephen. I do NOT know what I did with my notes......
