I am looking for information on the above individuals. George Robinson (b. 1793,Spotsylvania, VA, d.1835, Erie, Green Co. AL) was married to Mary Herndon (b 1788 Spotsylvania VA, d.1845, Erie Green Co. Al.) m. 1814 in Spotsylvania, VA.

Their child, Edwin Robinson (b 1815,Green Co, AL, d 1891, Smith Co. MS) was my GGGrandfather. He was married to Mary Ann E. Ward(b1830,Chatham Co. NC, d1881 Trenton, MS) in 1858 in Green Co, AL. Edwin may also have married Caroline Sherine in 1836 in Green Co. AL.

It is my understanding that the Herndons from VA established a large farm or plantation in Green Co., AL during this time.

Any information on these families or their history would be appreciated.
