Does anyone have any information on Mary Polly Brock, born 1797 in NC and married Adam Siler in Whitley or Knox Co., KY in 1817? Adam was born in Chatham Co., NC and was brought to Knox County (now Whitley) with his father when he was about 10 years old. I am assuming that Mary Polly Brock was also brought to Knox County as she and Adam were married there in Knox or Whitley. I can find nothing on Mary Polly Brock. I assume that her name was Mary and that Polly was just a nickname as was the case with so many Marys of that time. Adam was a son of Jacob O. Siler, Sr. & Rachel Teague Siler. ANY info about Brocks in NC would be appreciated. Mary
