My grandfather Talbert had an older sister Nancy "Nicy" Jane Talbert. She was born in Chesterfield, Chesterfield Co., SC on 06 OCT 1844. Her family was still in Chesterfield at the 1850 Census (listed as Micassa Talbert) They were in Burke Co., NC at the 1860 Census (listed as Micajah Tolbert). In 1870 they were in Catawba Co., NC, listed under Cagg Talbit. In 1880 Nancy's parents were still in Catawba Co., NC listed under Michael C. Talbert.

"My" Nancy Jane Talbert married Michael A. Abernathy on 01 JUN 1873 in Caldwell Twp., Catawba Co., NC

The children I have listed for Nancy and Michael do not match up with those of your Nancy and Mitchell.
