I live in Caldwell County, NC. I have some information for you. John (Hennes) Miller was born in Lincoln County, but did not Die there. He actually died in Caldwell County. He hung himself in his barn, and was buried close by. He lived on the Miller's Creek Road in a place called Little River Township. Sarah Hawn is buried not far away in the Cedar Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery on the Cedar Valley Church Road. John could not be buried in a church cemetery because committing suicide was considered a sin.
In your dialogue above, it states that he died in Lincoln County. I've been to these sites, and have a picture of his grave-site on my Ancestry page.
I do have a question about his lineage. Who was Frederick's 1 Father?
