I am searching for information about John Henry Moore born about 1834 in NC. County, parents, and siblings are unknown. He appeared in Helena, Phillips, AR, about 1863 when he enlisted in the Confederate army. After the war, he married Susan Helen Walton Loury/Lowery of Helena and remained in the area for the rest of his life. DNA from this line has been submitted to the Moore family project.
