Hi, Bridger JONES is my direct ancestor (ggggr-fa), marr Rachel BARRY; had 12 or so ch, including his son, John Thomas Briant JONES b 23 Nov 1796 Jones Co NC. The JONES fam originally from Wales, Scotland, then Ireland (political exiles/rebels. So what else is new!!). Bridger's father, the first James (b 1728 VA/NC-d 1780 NC), his parents & sibs lived in Isle of Wight, VA, 1680's-1700's, then moved to Onslow Co NC, later Jones Co NC where many of the JONES clan were born. Think his fa was John JONES. Don't have my notes handy, just moved, everything still packed, but will search later for JONES fam data.

Bridger's mother, Mary Rebecca BRIDGER (1735 NC-1763 NC) was dtr of Robt. BRIDGER (1689-1764) & Mary LEAR.
Have some lineage on them & other collateral fams as well.
Let me know what you want specifically. Have most of Bridger's children's descendants etc.
