Looking for information on the family of Evan Forbes and his wife Mary. Evan is listed in the 1850 Camden County census with his wife Mary and children Walter, Isaac, Evan Jr., Tully, and Elizabeth.
Who were Evan's parents? And if possible, his grandparents?

Although I can not tell you anything about Evan and Mary Forbes, I am very interested in anything you might have on their son Isaac T. who married Nanabana Gallop. They were my great aunt and uncle and moved to Illinois. I know they had at least two children. Do you know anything further about them?

I wish I could tell you more about the Evan Forbes family but all I have is what is included in the 1850 Camden County census. Wish I could be of more help.

I have a little info on Isaac T Forbes m 1893 to Lydia A Unk.

In 1894 I show a son born, Zuleimea Forbes.

In 1910 Isaac was a life ins. salesman.

OOOPPps, Zuleimea Forbes was a girl, not a boy.

Information I have is that Evan (b.1796) was the son of Isaac Forbes. Jr. and Polly unknown. His grandfather was Isaac Forbes and from there Thomas Forbes and Abigail Guilford and then James Forbes and Alice unknown. I have that Evan had a son named Jacob (b.1817) who m. Melinda unknown that you didn't ask about.

James Forbes was born in 1657 and married Alice Clason. Both moved from Accomac, VA in 1701 with children to Camden NC.

can you document Alice's maiden name as CLASON? I know that James's wife was named Alice but so far, nowhere have I seen her maiden name documented?
