I am attempting to research my families ties to Scotland. Mrs. Sudderth was born in Morganton, Burke County on 22 August 1844, and passed on 23 March 1923 in Knoxville, TN. I am unsure as to which Sudderth she was married to and the only possible names I have are from our family cemetary area in Knoxville. The Sudderth names I have are James Henry, and William. EIther could be her husband or even a son, I am unsure. It is possible the marriage occured in Asheville, but again unsure. Can anyone assist?
