Being that DNA testing has come out to help genealogy on proving and disproving paper, my point was what is written in books and paper may no longer be accurate do to DNA results. You obviously had an out of wedlock situation that you did not know about. Many of us are finding these things out due to DNA and they are not recorded on paper for some of us. I have many out of wedlock children in my direct lines not to mention more in cousin lines.

Hopefully one day you might find someone to MT-DNA test for your Tabitha Martin or by luck paper turns up on her.
