I'm replying to your e-mail abt. Hardin, and also to your posting about Watts.

My Polly Ann Hardin m. Travis Watts in NC. I think maybe your Watts descends from one of Travis's ancestors in NC. Try Richard Watts and Piny unknown. I have only three children listed for them and suspect they may have had more. Your Watts was b. abt. the time they were having children. Richard was b. abt. 1777 and Piney was b. abt. 1790.
The three children I have for them are:
1. Alexander "Alex" Watts, b. abt. 1804, m. Argand or Argant unknown. Both Alex and Argand were b. in Columbus Co., NC and they had at least nine children.
2. Isham Watts, b. abt. 1817 in SC.
3. Richard Watts, b. abt. 1820, SC.

You might check Columbus Co., NC (or surrounding area) for your Wiliam T. Watts b. abt. 1812.
