My gg grandfather was David Bennet and he lived in Carteret Co 1850, 1860 and 1870. There is a Mill Creek in Carteret Co, NC. My new e mail is kowens@ec.rr.com. I have been unable to find out any information about him or his family. He was a minister. My Mother always said he came to town with a group of traveling ministers and married Nancy Fulford from Beaufort, NC.
