My name is Michael Ganey, son of Joseph Craven Ganey, son of Joseph Hillre Ganey, son of James Rufus Ganey. The older Ganey's /Gainey's were born in Brunswick County, in Leland, and Town Creek. There is another Ganey from Waccamw, in Brunswick County a Harvy Ganey that I found on the 1920 census and then he and his family have disappeared. His wife was Serina, his sons were Marshall, George, Herman, and Hurbert. I am trying to find out if they are related to my lineage and what happened to them. Harvy, was born about 1890, his wife Serina was around 1888, and his son were born from 1910 to 1918. If anyone knows any information on this set of Ganeys please write back.
