I am looking to connect a Wimberley female with a Cotton male; she has a baby son about 1798 in SC or NC named Zephaniah. His first name may be James Zephaniah but he is going by "Zeph" or Zephaniah.

DNA is putting our current Wimberley men with a Cotton male.

As a side note, the Zephaniah Wimberley was a shoemaker, as was his son Ezekiel G. Wimberley. There are Wimberley males in the Bertie County, NC area that were shoemakers, also.
