He lived in close proximity to the Wimberley families: 1860 Census: Joseph, age 50; Wm. D. age 27; Lewis Jr. age 30; Noah age 27.

A David Walker might have been the father of Thomas J. Walker. David and Thomas lived together early on in Henry Co, sharing in a Tn. land grant. David was born in NC in 1782, and his wife was named Sarah.
