Hugh and Mary had a son named (2)John Dustin Hyman born about 1726 in Bertie County, NC, and died 1794 in Bertie County, NC. John Dustin Hyman was married to Dinah Manning. Their son(3) John Dustin Hyman Jr. born( ?) and died 1813 in Martin County, NC. John Jr. married Elizabeth Burnett. John Dustin Hyman, Jr had a son (4) Lawrence "Larry" Hyman born 1792 in Martin County, NC and died 1886 in Hymanville, SC. Lawrence married Martha O'Cain. Lawrence Hyman had a son (5) Canna Bass Hyman born 1818 and died 1864 In SC.Canna Bass Hyman was married to Seana Stone. Their daughter(6) Frances Eleanor Hyman married Joseph S. Gibbs. Joseph S. Gibbs (1824-1891) was the son of Cannon and Welthy Gibbs. Joseph and Frances Hyman Gibbs were my great, great grandparents.
Welthy Gibbs was first married to John Eaton Hyman from Martin County, NC (abt 1790 and died 1819) They lived in Marion County, SC.
As I mentioned there was a Hymanville, SC. It is now called Hyman, SC located in Florence County. As you can see these Hymans migrated to SC in the late 1700s.
