Do you have anything on the O'Cains on the 1800 Census of Martin County, NC?
I found at least 5 famlies.
1...Jenney O'Cain.....aged 45+ at this census
1-male child........aged 16to26 " "
1-female child......aged -10yrs.. " "

2...Elizabeth O'Cain..aged 45+ living alone

3...William O'Cain.....aged under 45 yrs
2 males ..............-10 yrs.
1 male.................-16 yrs.
1 female...............-10 yrs.
2 females.............-16 yrs.
1 female...............-45yrs.

4...Thomas O'Cain.....aged under 45yrs
3 males ................-10 yrs.
2 females..............-10 yrs.
2 females..............-45 yrs.

5...John O'Cain..........aged under 45yrs.
1 female...............in the last column (I can't read)
I believe that the William O'Cain listed is the one to have migrated to SC and settled in Marion County.
What is your opinion?
