I have no information on the will but believe this family is part of my ancestry. I am trying to trace the parents of Charity and Loamma Powers of Ashe County, NC. I believe Charity is the mother of Jane Powers who married Will Hurley on 3/8/1879. Jane birthdate is 12/25/1855. One of her children was Birdie Lou Hurley who was my grandmother.

In 1860, Charity was in the same household with Drury Powers and also with Jane and James Powers, who I believe are her children.
In 1870 she was in the household of Drury Powers with Jane and James.
In 1880 she is in the household of Drury Powers, listed as Drury's sister and James is listed as Drury's nephew. (Jane had married and left).

I believe other possible brothers and sisters of Drury and Charity are Mary, Loamma, Hannah, Hardin, James, Arena, Nancy, Joseph H., and Tamsey.
