Hello Everyone,

I am looking for information about Edward Cox born in 1862 who was married to Ida (maiden name unknown) born in 1871. They owned a farm in Lilesville Anson Co. Ed was adopted into the Cox family from which he inherited his farm and his original surname may have been Dumas. Ed died sometime in the 1920's and Ida sometime after 1930. In 1930 Ida lived on her farm with her daughter Mary. Does anyone recognise them?

This couple would have married circa 1888 and I was thinking that their marriage record might provide names of parents. Has anyone ever ordered a marriage certificate from Anson Co before and if so could you tell me what information it contains?
