I am looking for any informantion that I can find on the Linens family in Alamance County. I would like to find out about my great-great grandparents who are Brantley and Nancy Linens (Linnen or Linnens). All that have found out is that they are buried at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Alamance Co. and all that they had for a marker was a rock. Nancy's maiden name was Beckom. They had several children one of who was in the Civil War. I have the peg leg that he wore after his leg was blown off at the battle at Gaine's Mill Va. Anything that anyone could do to help me out would be more appreciated than words can say.
